I am Sabuj C. Bhowmick, an MSc Data Analytics student at the University of Turku, Finland, with an interdisciplinary background in statistics, mathematical sciences, public health, IoT engineering, machine learning, and computational research.

My work focuses on building reproducible, interpretable, and methodologically rigorous data-driven solutions. I am particularly interested in applications of data science and machine learning in bioinformatics, computational biology, biostatistics, public health analytics, time-series forecasting, and data-intensive scientific computing.

I have academic and project experience across applied statistics, predictive modeling, machine learning workflows, IoT-based data systems, renewable energy forecasting, microbiome data science, multiomics integration, and reproducible research reporting. My technical work emphasizes proper validation, transparent model evaluation, data quality, leakage prevention, and clear communication of analytical results.

My current technical direction combines Python, R, SQL, Bioconductor, scikit-learn, XGBoost, statistical modeling, Git/GitHub workflows, Quarto/R Markdown, LaTeX, and research-oriented software development. I am developing a portfolio that connects academic research, machine learning engineering, and practical data-driven problem solving.

I am open to research collaboration, thesis/research opportunities, data science projects, machine learning engineering work, and PhD-level research opportunities in areas related to computational biology, bioinformatics, applied AI, biostatistics, and reproducible data science.
